How to Transfer Employees Through Qiwa in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Government implemented the Labor Reform Initiative (LRI) after the implementation of iqama transfers (sponsorship transfers) requiring employee approval.
How To Accept Transfer Request on Qiwa
- Check out the Qiwa platform
- Please select English.
- To sign in, click the “Sign in” button at the top right corner of the page.
- The username and password for Qiwa must be entered.
- Your OTP will be sent to the number you have registered with your mobile phone. Enter the OTP and click “Sign in.”.
- Go to the drop-down menu and select “Individual account.”
- Select the “Employee Transfer” option and then click “Transfer Request.”.
Your current establishment, the type of transfer, the new establishment, the date of the transfer request, and its status will be displayed upon viewing the details of your transfer request.
- View the request by clicking on a view.
- This will be marked as “PENDING LABORER APPROVAL” until your approval.
- By selecting “view contract,” you will be able to view the employment contract.
- Check the box that says, “I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the employee contract.”.
- Please accept the request by clicking the “Accept” button.
- You must accept the transfer by clicking the “Accept the Request” button in a popup window that appears in the screen where the brief description of the transfer appears.
- Your request for transfer has been accepted.
The status will change to "Pending Completion of Transfer In Absher by New Employer" once you accept the request.
